THRESHOLD MOVIE CONCEPT
Threshold was a passion project that started as a vague concept: a lone figure caught at the edge of a glowing portal, somewhere between escape, discovery and whatever is waiting on the other side. I built the artwork as a conceptual film campaign, using layered Photoshop compositing, lighting, texture, distortion along with typographic effects to create a cinematic key art piece. The title treatment became part of the artwork, with the letterforms breaking apart as if pulled into the portal itself. I also developed the artwork across poster and billboard formats, thinking about how key art needs to hold its composition, hierarchy and intrigue whether seen up close, across a street, or in passing.
